SOMA ARCHITECTS STUDIO was founded in 2009 by Sofia Mavridou, Architectural Engineer of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Sofia Mavridou started her studies in Rome at the Facoltà di Architettura – Sapienza Università di Roma.
Then she got her master’s degree in architecture at AUTH and in 2011 she got her master’s degree in MLA landscape architecture.
The main focus of the office is the architectural design of buildings, landscape design and interior design at the level of planning and construction.

We are inspired by people and nature, as well as the changing mosaic of the urban landscape, so our designs exude architectural integrity, aesthetics and functionality, with the primary goal of maintaining the client’s vision at every step of the process.

1st Presentation Award – EXPO Florence 2008
In 2008 she was awarded in the international competition Smart Presentation Prize in the category Architectural Project by the Degree and Profession Foundation of Florence with her proposal for the Reformation of northern part of lake Doirani, Greece.
1st prize for photography in a national competition of IEK ESP 2004.
Architectural Competition with the theme: Changing the facade of the Tower of Piraeus Collaboration with Gerasimos Pavlidis, Architectural Engineer.
